God grant me, The serenity to accept the clothes I can not change. The courage to give to the charity shop those I do not need, and the wisdom to know the difference.
I was initially confused by clothes you couldn’t change. ππ. Thought somebody got sewn in, like in Goodnight Mr Tom. But then I figured it out. I get most of my clothes FROM the charity shop these days (my version of recycling). It makes the mistakes less hard hitting and therefore reduces the need for wisdom. Very wise, for me, ironically, to not expect to be wise. . π

very good, Hobbo; men are becoming more fashion conscious now; why, even I am showing an interest, admittedly cursory, in fashion π

I like to be smartly dressed, Hobbo — except when I’m slumming it which is almost de rigeur in the current 7 day lockdown π¦

Not a prayer I need to worry about. Iβm more into classic design. I love the resale shop for my more bohemian dress days.

Did you notice how few charity collection bags came through the mail slot during Covid?

Charity shops are not accepting a lot of things at the moment. Getting very fussy!
