A woman’s prayer

A woman's prayer

God grant me,
The serenity
to accept the clothes I can not change.
The courage
to give to the charity shop
those I do not need,
and the wisdom
to know the difference.

  1. I was initially confused by clothes you couldn’t change. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Thought somebody got sewn in, like in Goodnight Mr Tom. But then I figured it out. I get most of my clothes FROM the charity shop these days (my version of recycling). It makes the mistakes less hard hitting and therefore reduces the need for wisdom. Very wise, for me, ironically, to not expect to be wise. . 😊

  2. Not a prayer I need to worry about. I’m more into classic design. I love the resale shop for my more bohemian dress days.
