Devices I can't quite conquer alliteration, And rhyming activity leads to frustration. To blame the virus, would be an allusion, Whilst syllable counts lead to confusion. And I ain't got the hang Of enjambment, dang. I will have to resort to blank verse, Though I can't think of anything poorer.
Enjambment. I really have to look that up. I have no recollection of it. It sounds squashy.

Ahhh. I understand. Being run over does get squashy. π. Maybe I will remember that. To me it should suggest some kind of book-ending… not this freedom to jump down to the next shelf. π

hahah; blank verse is certainly easier to write but if you want to push yourself rhyming verse is the way to go π
