Molly's ghost Molly strolled through the park, in a glow-in-the-dark hoodie her daughter had bought her. Creeping behind, Halloween on his mind, a naughty ghost looking to haunt her. Wearing loose pumps, it gave Molly goosebumps when spied from the edge of her hoodie, but it ran faraway when she screamed at it, hey go away mate, I'm one of the goodies.

Firstly, I donβt believe in ghosts because itβs people who claim theyβve seen one who believe in ghosts, and I donβt want to see a ghost β¦ so I donβt believe. Anyway, my mum said there was a ghost in her garage, and when she told it to go away, it did. This, imo, is not proof of ghosts but rather that my mum was bloody fearsome.

π€£ I wrote this for a kids Halloween competition that Chel Owens was promoting. I wouldn’t tackle your mum, she sounds a fearsome lady.

She passed over a few years ago, but her straight-laced stern ways are well remembered. π

Perfect for Halloween, Hobbo. π I’m glad the ghost was easily intimidated. π
