Transition

Transition

As I transition
seamlessly
from mid-life crisis
to the gentle senility
of old age,
I find myself
contemplating
profound questions;
what is
the real
meaning of life
and have
I eaten
my lunch yet.
Sadly, both
are equally difficult
to answer.

  1. Never gonna figger-out life. Forgetting lunch is okay if you can sneak into the kitchen for have a second or first lunch. Hope there’s more Hobbs this morning; I need to walk the wild side with my coffee. Be careful out there, Hobbs.

  2. Lunch and the meaning of life, both overrated. Most important thing, you managed to craft and post this poem that brought all your readers big smiles. Cheers, Hobbo. Don’t forget the night cap.
