A fishy accident
and a humourist
discussed a fish
with an aquarist,
till a terrorist
of a motorist,
knocked all three down
in a swirling mist.

Oh yes! The final line remained unwritten😂
WHat do you get if you cross an arborist and an atheist? That popped into my head because of the “ist” endings but I don’t know an answer. Can you think of one? There’s a famous(ish) Australian cryptic crossword setter called David Astle. I heard him interviewed on a podcast. He was talking about riddles. Apparently Lewis Carroll had an unanswered riddle in Alice in Wonderland and his readers were furious. There has since been a good answer made up for it. LOL. I can’t remember the riddle or the newly made up answer. Another riddle he told was from one of the Batman movies. THe joker asked “There are three men on a boat with four cigarettes but no matches. How do they get to smoke the cigarettes?” The answer was “They throw one cigarette overboard so the boat is a cigarette lighter.”
If he was dyslexic, you’d have a tree farmer who didn’t believe in dogs! I loved the silly old joke about the lighter. 🤣
Carroll’s riddle was Why is a raven like a writing desk. 🧐
Thank you, Misky. In Carroll’s day, they’d probably both need quills to function. 🙂
Stark raven crazy! 😂

I wonder where that saying came from.
😂 A crowophobe?
That’s right! And the clever answer discussed online and reported by David Astle was “One is a rest for pens and the other is a pest for wrens.” 😀
Clever clogs! 😂
I suspect I’m the odd one out on this – I think that answer is lame. 😂😂🤣
You don’t like a bit of spooner? What about (this is mine) one is bookish and teaky and the other rookish and beaky.
That I like! Yes!
That is very good, Worms. knew we could rely on you for a down-under perspective!
Never follow the crowd. They don’t usually have a clue.🤣
The visuals in this poem are like an animated movie 🎥 well done!
So clever ! Just an awesome read 😁👍
