Scrabble
Shun simplicity,
use apricity;
the warmth of a wintery sun;
or for more,
borborygmus;
that rumbling sound in your tum.
There's a word
for everything
in our flamboyant languauge,
like the ever ebullient brie
in a cheese and pickle sandwich.
LOL I thought, she’s made that up, surely? Then I thought, well, it has to be worth a look on Giggle and there it was in all its exhibitionist glory! π€£
oh I enjoyed this; my partner and I love Scrabble and we play it a few times a week; I’ve seen fights over Scrabble but we are civilized to each other; I enjoyed tour word play π will have to look them up after π you don’t see many poems about Scrabble π¦
LOL So true. It’s easy to slip into sesqui-pedalianism.
