Sleeplessness
Sleeplessness Slumber will not come, I've tired out the sheep, Tried reading boring books But cannot get to sleep. Advice from several friends Is try to count my blessings But, wed for fifty years, I'm better counting yessings!

Sleeplessness is horrific. If this is you, I’m completely sympathetic. Hobbo, I’m trying to catch up on reading everyone’s poem, but I’m having real difficulty with my eyes at the moment, so I’ll do my best this evening. In the meantime, keep writing …. (or that keep dancing!) 😂

I can completely empathize with the lack of sleep
Each morning I’ve had huge tower mug of coffee to wake up 😀

I can relate to all of this but for the last two lines 🙂 but what I really wanted to say was. I’ve read this three times now and I’m still bowled over by the boldness of the first two lines, how you totally subvert the standard sheep/sleep scenario 🙂
